IRS Currently Not Collectable Status

Sometimes you can’t afford to make any payments to the IRS. If you do not qualify for any other type of tax relief, such as an Offer in Compromise or Innocent Spouse Relief, we will help you request that the IRS place your account in a currently not collectible (CNC) status.

When an account is currently not collectible, the IRS stops enforcement action and releases any levies already in place.

If your situation doesn’t change, it is not uncommon for an account to remain in currently not collectible status until the collection statute of limitations has expired. The IRS can no longer pursue the tax debt.

Contact us today to see if you might qualify for CNC status.
